If you decide to collect ceramics and would want to pay more, it is worth knowing what you are buying. The first thing you should know is who made it? The most popular and valuable ceramics are made by the following makers: Sevres (1756-1851) is the dominant manufacturer of porcelain in Europe. Meissen (from 1708) is the first European factory to make hard-paste porcelain. Royal Crown Derby (from 1750) is from England. Wedgwood (from 1754) also from England founded by Josiah Wedgwood. And many others I will mention in my newsletter. Also, I will describe the kind of ceramics they make and the marks they use so you can identify them. On my next guide, I will tackle about American and European glass. Add me to your favourites to receive a newsletter. Thank you!
Remember, make an informed decision.
