Alienware 7700

This is an excellent laptop and as of now its one of the fastest available. Instead of a mobile processor the power hungry computer can sport full intel 775 socket processors as well as NVIDIA or ATI graphics processing. The only thing is.. on ebay there are more scammers trying to sell this than real people! Some tips ive learned to avoid these scams are relativley easy.

1. CHECK THE PICTURE! Ive seen a dozen times where the picture isnt even a 7700. Also, check all the other listings to make sure there arent duplicates. A lot of scammers like to just use others pictures.

2. CHECK FOR AN E-MAIL! Never EVER buy anything from anyone who wants you to NOT use "ask seller question". This is a big red stop sign that says they stole an ebay account and are scamming as much off it as possile until it is closed. Which brings me to my next topic..

3. CHECK PREVIOUS THINGS BOUGHT AND SOLD. This isnt always true at all but its something that you can do to make yourself feel a little better before buying. If they are selling computer things, see if theyve bought and sold them before. Chances are if all they sold before was porcelain dolls, its a stolen account.

4. CHECK THE CREDIT OF THE BUYERS! If your buying something from the seller and theyve sold a lot before and all seem to be 100% posotive, make sure those people giving the reviews are also credible. If they have one stolen account they probably ahve more and it would be very easy to give themslef a posotive review.

5. ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS! If the seller is hesitant about taking more pictures or giving you info abotu the product, chances are you dont want to bother with it. Any REAL seller would be mroe than willing to answer any and all questions!

I hope that helps some people out when they are purchasing maybe MY 7700 lol , or any other products on ebay. Sure there are a lot of other things to take into concideration but most of them are relativley obvious. Good luck to all the ebayers out there!
